About us
In the Lebensraum- und Destinationsmanagement (habitat and destination management), we, the KUS, focus both on maintaining and improving the quality of life for district citizens and future skilled workers and on making the district more attractive for day visitors and holidaymakers.
The KUS is committed to ensuring that the district, which already has a wide range of leisure activities with cultural and sporting opportunities, traditional sights and diverse gastronomy, remains as liveable as ever. For both locals and visitors, the existing offers are bundled, clearly presented and their visibility increased. Various print products and the digital presentation help with this. Tourist products, which keep a significant part of the economic power in the region, are being developed. The increased targeting of external guests aims to strengthen the local gastronomy, hotel and retail sectors. The recreational value of the district should be attractive to citizens and guests alike. The aim of the KUS is to further increase the quality of life of the citizens and to convince day tourists, business travelers and vacation guests of the uniqueness of the region.

Lebensraummanagement
Britta ist unter anderem zuständig für unsere Direktvermarkter und Gastronomiebetriebe im Landkreis. Sie organisiert große Veranstaltungen, wie den Tag der offenen Hoftür, oder betreut die Neuauflage des beliebten Genussführers. Ihr Lieblingsplatz im Landkreis sind die Scheyrer Weiher rund um das schöne Kloster.
Susanne Schmid
Betriebliche Nachhaltigkeit
Susanne ist unsere Ansprechpartnerin für die Belange der Nachhaltigkeit, insbesondere bei dem Projekt der "Nachhaltigkeitsscouts". Zudem kümmert sie sich um die touristische Weiterentwicklung unserer Wanderwege. Ihr besonderer place to be ist der Waldkletterpark in Jetzendorf.
Annegret Lange
Themenbereichsleitung Lebensraum- und Destinationsmanagement / Digitalisierung
Annegret ist beim KUS zuständig für alle digitalen Themen und steht als eCoach Unterkünften und Freizeitbetriebe mit konkreten Tipps zur Seite. Als großer Fan von Sommer und Sonne verbringt sie gerne Zeit im Pfaffenhofener Freibad.
Lisa Ziller
Presse und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit
Ich heiße Lisa Ziller und arbeite seit März 2017 im KUS. Schwerpunktmäßig erstelle ich sowohl unsere Pressemitteilungen, unseren Social Media Content als auch redaktionelle Anzeigen. Mein zweiter großer Aufgabenbereich widmet sich dem Radverkehr mit der Konzeptionierung und Koordinierung diverser Projekte. #immeruptodate
Jule Niehaus
Lebensraum- und Destinationsmanagement
Jule ist als Projektmanagerin eure Ansprechpartnerin für alle Fragen rund um das Lebensraum- und Destinationsmanagement im Landkreis. Ihr Schwerpunkt liegt im Handlungsfeld Mobilität, zudem ist sie beim Veranstaltungskalender und der Webseite aktiv. Sie setzt sich mit viel Engagement dafür ein, den Landkreis noch attraktiver zu gestalten. Als leidenschaftliche Reisende bringt sie stets neue Perspektiven in ihre Arbeit ein und unterrichtet darüber hinaus Zumba-Kurse.
