Together through nature:
Respectful - Mindful - Friendly - Considerate
These are the key words that enable harmonious coexistence on the cycle paths in the district of Pfaffenhofen. So that everyone can experience nature together, we ask you to observe the following rules of conduct:
Show consideration for agriculture / forestry
Please note that some of the hiking routes run along paths used for agriculture and forestry. The aim is not only to avoid accidents, but also to treat each other with respect.
Only use approved paths
Move considerately and quietly so as not to expose the forest and wild animals to unnecessary stress. The designated and signposted hiking trails offer wonderful opportunities to explore the district. Stay on the designated roads and paths and observe local closures. Avoid tours at dusk and dawn.
Leave no trace
Litter left behind poses a danger to animal inhabitants and plant life. It is important to take responsibility and not leave waste behind in nature.
Don’t pick too many mushrooms, flowers and fruit
Mushrooms and berries should only be harvested in moderation. For flowers and herbs, a hand bouquet is an approved amount. Forest fruits and plants should never be eaten raw because of the risk of infection from the fox tapeworm.
Route closures
In the period from March 1 to July 15, there will be route closures in the area of the Heideweiher (Reichertshofen), the Paarwiesen (Hohenwart) and the Pucher Moos (Pörnbach) due to the meadow breeders. We ask for your understanding.
